Swing Gate

Mezzanine Gates

Overview

The Bluff Swing Gate is a safe access gate option for containment perimeter rails that can be added to one of our mezzanines. Swing gates are mounted to the edge of a mezzanine structure to allow access for pallets or material from the ground. The manual swing-action gates swing in towards the Mezzanine to provide a usable area and are balanced for ease of operation without the use of springs.

Consider the width of material that will pass through the gate and if will you need a drop plate to protect the decking at the gate opening. Bluff Swing Gates are made up of heavy-duty welded steel, standard in powder coated safety yellow & meets OSHA requirements.

Key features include non-welded bolt connections, design flexibility for modifications and expansion, and vertical clearance maximization for efficient space utilization. The structures boast high-quality design with standardized components, ensuring cost-effective installation. Additionally, they are built to last and come with a substantial 30-year structural warranty.

Bluff's mezzanine construction focuses on efficiency and cost-effectiveness, utilizing a combination of materials such as hot-rolled structural steel, high-strength cold-formed sections, structural tubes, and steel bar joists. The use of standardized shapes minimizes custom fabrication, and professional engineer certification is available for designs in the contiguous 48 states. The entire production process takes place in the Fort Worth plant, with shipping handled by approved contract haulers.
