West Texas blows into DFW

SaturdayÂ (the 24th) the winds in Dallas – Fort Worth were over 40 MPH with gusts over 50 MPH from the west.Â My wife and I wereÂ at a home improvement show in the Arlington Convention Center.Â When we left around 3:30 we snapped this photo of the tower and roller coaster at Six Flags over Texas.

My wife and I grew up in west TexasÂ where this was a commonÂ “Spring-Thing”.Â One of a few things I don’t miss.ï¿½
